I am a Pacific Northwest native turned missionary living in Croatia and married to her Bosnian hero. Together we live in the country with our 2 active boys where I enjoy fruity candles and a hot cup of herbal tea on a blustery fall evening.
I hold an Associate of Practical Theology and am passionate about discipling and encouraging women.
In 2011, I found out that I had adrenal fatigue after doing some testing following two traumatic miscarriages.
This set me on a path of education and research that led me to the ketogenic diet.
Nothing helped me quite like lowering my carbs dramatically, kicking sugar and grains to the curb, and eating healthy, natural, animal fats in high quantities.
Suddenly, my migraines went away, my skin improved, my weight dropped, and my energy flew through the roof.
I started my keto journey in 2017, but I've not always been terribly consistent with it. This blog is my space where I get real, and honest, and stay accountable to the life God has given me!
My passion for writing has led me to author a number of Bible studies.
