I get asked all the time about my fatty tea.
There really is no secret to this recipe. It's very much like Bulletproof Coffee....but without the coffee....and without the Bulletproof brand.
I love my fat bomb tea for several reasons:
- It's a lot smoother than coffee
- It doesn't have caffeine (I'll be sharing about that in a future post)
- It is super versatile
Also, it's a great way to meet your fat macro, promote satiety, and feed your body the healthy fats it needs for greater mental clarity, fat-burning, and energy.
I usually drink one fat bomb tea each morning.
Its a perfect meal replacement on those days when I'm super-busy and don't have time to make and eat breakfast. I can throw it in a travel mug and take it with me.
It is super easy to make, plus you can play with flavors -- make fall, summer, and winter blends...experiment with different kinds of teas, spices, and extracts.
I never get bored with my fat bomb teas!
Keto Fat Bomb Tea
Brew your coffee or tea as normal. I prefer herbal teas like
Different teas add to the various flavors. Roobois is a nuttier flavor, so its great for making pumpkin spice or chai tea flavors.
Fruity flavors are great for making warm "shake" flavor teas.
After you've brewed your tea, pour it into your blender and add:
1 TB of Coconut Oil
1 TB of Butter
1 TB Half-and-half
Pinch of Pink Himalayan sea salt
A drop or two Stevia - optional. I often don't even add stevia
Variations:
Add 1/2 TB of cocoa powder to make a mocha
Brew Roobois tea and sprinkle some cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and a few drops of Pumpkin Pie extract to make a Pumpkin spice Fat Bomb Tea
Brew mint tea and add 1/2 TB of cocoa powder to make a mocha chocolate chip Fat Bomb Tea
