The Keto Diet Isn't Always Easy!

Let's be all the way honest, shall we?

The Keto diet isn't always easy - especially when the rest of your family doesn't follow the same eating plan -- or like keto-friendly foods.

Last fall I was doing pretty well with the keto diet.

I was exercising, taking my vitamins, and following a strict plan and it showed.

Friends would often say how great I looked.

Then Thanksgiving and Christmas hit --and all was lost.

Since the holidays I've had a very hard time getting back to a place of consistency.

Here's the thing, though - I want to feel well.

It's not just about looking well, it's about feeling well.

That was the biggest thing about last fall. When I was taking my vitamins, getting my steps in, and consistently eating well, I felt amazing!

One tool I use a lot to feel great is fasting.

Both intermittent fasting and long-term fasting.

So, to get myself back on track, I decided to do something radical:

I made for myself a strict "Rolling 72" schedule.

What is Rolling 72?

Rolling 72 is doing back-to-back 72 hour fasts.

Mine look slightly different than the usual Rolling 72.

I fast for 72 hours - from 3PM - 3PM, then I take one more day to eat and then begin a new 72 hour fast.

It's not easy - as a matter of fact, yesterday I had to take an extra eating day, but I know the results will be amazing.
