Egg Fast Day 4 - It's getting easier!!

Well, day 4 has hit, and with it some motivation to try new things.

This is what I love about feeling good - because when I feel good, I get motivation to try new recipes.

Before we get into that, I'll just say - it's amazing that I feel good given the fact that I did not sleep well last night (despite my smart watch saying I had "good" sleep).

I slept for about 6 1/2 hours, and at that, it was a bit restless. On top of that, I woke up to use the bathroom at 3am and did not go back to sleep.

Oh well.

I do think that was probably ketosis kicking in, because that's what it usually does to me.

Also, the bathroom run seems to have been a "woosh" - as here is my weigh-in....

Are you ready?????

Today's weight: 79 kilos / 174

Loss from yesterday: .7 kilos / 1.7 lbs

Total loss: 2.4 kilos / 6.3

Ummm.....

There is no better motivation than that kind of motivation!

Also, before we move on to my food...

While searching for some egg fast recipes, I ran across other websites talking about the egg fast, and they did say that the minimum number of eggs one should eat a day ranges from 4-6.

So, I feel much better about yesterday's meal of only 4 eggs.

Now on to the food

Today I did try something new as a breakfast - only because it sounded so good I couldn't wait to try it:

I made this pumpkin spice loaf.

I didn't make the whole recipe, because I wanted to make sure I would like it enough to have a whole loaf. And since eggs are outrageously expensive, I didn't want to feel obligated to eat something I didn't like.

Well, I do like it!

A lot!

I will 100% be making this again. Not just for an egg fast, but for a Keto treat.

And there is nothing "dirty keto" about this recipe. It is 100% legit keto that would satisfy even keto snobs.

So there!

Other than that - I made yesterday's egg pizza with 5 eggs - to make a total of 6.

I was a bit hungry, so I had a bulletproof coffee to round all that out and we're done for the day!
