Egg Fast Day 3

 


Soooo - as I mentioned in a previous post, I don't enjoy eating breakfast, instead I tend to snack here and there all morning.

Well, now that I'm doing the egg fast, I can't do that.

It wasn't until today that I realized how often I snack. 

It was very enlightening.

I didn't get a full 7 hours of sleep last night, not because I didn't get to bed on time, but because I naturally woke up after 6 hours and 45 minutes.

It's not ideal, but I still feel amazing today!!

So - here's my weight for today: 79.7 kilos / 175.7 lbs.

I'm down .5 kilos / 1.1 lbs. 

My total so far down 1.7 kilos / 4.6 lbs

My meals for today:

Egg and cheese pizza (4 eggs, max cheese allowed, and 4 tb mayo as fat)

And I'll be honest, I couldn't eat any more than that. I was so full, I couldn't even dream of putting another thing in my mouth. I know it's under the limit - but I'm going to force myself beyond satiety.

In case someone is worried about me getting enough - this is a fasting-mimicking diet, much like the fat-fasts I've done.

A fat fast has a lower calorie limit (900 or under) with 80-90% of the calories coming from fat. And that is what today's meal turned out to be.

I do track everything on My Fitness Pal to make sure I'm getting what I need nutritionally.

I am at 767 calories for today with 85% being from fat.

But this is why you don't do this fast longer than 3-5 days! 

It would be dangerous to do it longer than that. It's a tool, not a diet!
