One thing I've been doing this summer is a lot of food prep.
I know that a new school year is just around the corner, and I want to make sure that I have a lot of meals prepped ahead of time so that I am not tempted to go off the plan.
One thing I do is that when I make a keto meal, I make a full recipe, or even a double recipe, and I freeze the extra.
One of the problems I began to run into, though, was space.
We don't have a large freezer, so freezer space is limited. Plus, I began to run out of food containers, so I came up with this idea.
Food Prepping Keto Foods for Freezing
After the food in the containers was well frozen, I took the containers out and piled the frozen food into a Ziplock bag.
As it turns out, they're like food pellets frozen in portioned sizes.
All I have to do is remove one of the food pellets, place it in a microwave-safe dish, and heat.
It saves a lot of freezer space, and everything is portioned ahead of time.
How do you food prep?
